I’ve had korean food all my life and make an attempt to find korean restaurants in my travels through Europe and North America. I’m so glad to find Seoul in Bucharest. Was there for business and went with two friends. Location is about 15 north of Old Town and close to Arch de triumf. Ambience is good, a little hidden from the main street but easy to find with a gps. Food was awesome. The two friends i took there never had korean and they loved it. Highly recommend! I plan to go back when I’m in bucharest again.
After being in Romania for 2 weeks, being Korean my self I had a hankering for some Korean food. I found this place on trip advisor and it had great reviews.
I found this place to have real authentic flavours and was not altered in any way for appease the locals, giving everyone the real taste of Korea. It was very hard for me to choose a dish as they had a lot of my favourites.
Like Romanian food there are a lot of pickled dishes and pork on the menu, just a little bit spicier. The food here was that good that my dad would approve.
I actually felt like I was in Korea with the decor and food tastes.
The restaurant is on street Mircea Zorileanu, near Arcul de Triumf where you can easily park your car. Food was excellent, I received 6 side dishes (kimchi and other delicious snacks) on the house and then I shared a few main dishes with friends. Everything was really good with an unique taste.
The food came fast and the waiters and owner were very kind and welcoming us there as if we were old friends coming by for a visit at their house. They will also explain what’s on every plate, how it was made and what’s the tradition behind it.
Overall a great dining experience and I will come by again to try other items from the menu.
I was not expecting to find Korean food in Bucharest, so I was pleasantly surprised to have discovered this spot! Having lived in South Korea for a while, I get my kimchi, bibimbap and sundubu jjigae cravings, and this place delivered with their dishes. They also had the free banchan (small side dishes), which you don’t always get in restaurants outside of Korea. I was told their chef is Korean, and that certainly translates into the dishes. Also, they play K-POP, which always manages to put a smile on my face. I highly recommend it if you find yourself in Bucharest!
Very good food, very nice english speaking waiters, fast service and great atmosphere of the place. Hope to come again in my next visit to Romania.
I have been to Seoul restaurant in Bucharest and I eat the most delicious food in my life. And every thing was on the high standards.
